5. s.+ link verb+n./pro./num.
They are teachers.
He became a lawyer.
He remains a fisherman.
My brother is not quite twenty-five.
The students are all attention.
During his speech I was all ears.
What colour is your skirt
He was not an instant success.
He is no teacher.
He is something of an actor.
I am nothing of a musician.
Welch is much of a drinker.
It isn't much of a holiday for me.
He lived and died a country doctor.
He left a child and came back a father.
We parted the best friends.
It was a very difficult thing to tell stories that children can both understand and appreciate.
It's a waste of time arguing with her about it.
It's a wonder that the boy survived the shipwreck.
