too + 形容词/副词 + to 不定式
这一句型在大多数情况下表示“太……以至不能”,其中的too修饰形容词或副词,是more than enough 的意思:
The news is too good to be true. 这消息好得令人难以置信。
The table is too heavy for a child to move. 这桌子太重,小孩搬不动。
He moved away from his parents， and missed them enjoy the exciting life in New York.

I was too tired to continue the job. 我太累了,这工作不能继续下去了。
The American spoke English too fast for the beginner to follow. 那美国人说英语说得太快,这位初学者跟不上。
但是如果句型中的形容词是anxious， eager ，glad ，pleased， willing， ready ， easy， quick， apt， inclined 等,too修饰“形容词 + to不定式”,则表示肯定的意思:
Are we too quick to blame and slow to praise 我们是不是指责别人太快而表扬别人太慢?
He is too ready to help. 他随时准备帮助别人。
too 之前用 only则语气更强:
We are only too pleased to come. 我们十分乐意来。
